Encouraging Video Message from Marco Rubio

The Liberty Works attitude toward the reinvigorated Republican Party in Washington will be:

Hopeful but vigilant

Senator Elect Marco Rubio delivered the Republicans’ weekly address on Saturday, encouraging the hopeful part.  Rubio is sure to become one of the highest profile Republicans in Congress and is a potential Presidential contender.  The video is below, here are a couple of excerpts:

We republicans would be mistaken if we misread these results as simply an embrace of the Republican Party.  This election is a second chance for we Republicans to be what we said we we’re going to be.

[America was] built on free enterprise where the employee can become the employer, where small businesses are started every day in a spare bedroom.

Equally encouraging was the lack any Obamaian assumption that Washington politicians and bureaucrats know best how to run that infant small business in a spare room, or for that matter a car company or insurance company or hospital or medical practice.
