Promises of Economic Magic Meet Grim Reality

The March 2009 Gallup poll came at the end of months of hype that apparently convinced a majority that this charismatic new President was so brilliant, so financially clever that he could restore all the lost jobs, plus create millions of new jobs and bring back prosperity with rivers of government red ink called “investments.”
Remember all those “experts” on TV who claimed to know of thousands of “shovel ready projects” that would immediately provide millions of jobs? In October of 2010 President Obama admitted in a New York Times interview that he had finally learned, in his words, “there’s no such thing as shovel-ready projects.”
The March, 2011 Gallup poll came after America learned, by living through two years of grim reality, that the advocates of big government, deficit spending were incompetent or were hustlers or were both.
Where oh where can our Obama sycophant TFB be, oh, where oh, where can he/she be? With a sickly economy and an inneffective President oh, where oh, where do we go??

As you know Obama inherited this mess. 700,000 workers lost their jobs in January, 2009, the month he was inaugurated.
His polls are down because of the Republican lie machine with Fox News and Rush Limbaugh screaming at the public 24 hours a day. But there is no Republican ready to run for President. Their all half-wits. And the tea party idiots will decide which one gets nominated so it will probably be Sarah Palin.
Obama will engage in a major voter education campaign about the real causes of the bad economy, and the all the damage these Republicans will do if they win the White House, Obama will win reelection.
Most thinking people know an unregulated free market crashes every few years, just as it did in 2008. Most people dont want your rule of the middle class by the rich, for the rich.
People are not going to vote against Obama’s steady, intellectual leadership, especially if the choice is crazy stupid Palin. Watching Russia from her bedroom window.
