Theater of The Absurd
In a shocking development President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize after only 9 months in office. 
When one considers that the nominations are due on February 1st this is a prize based on two weeks in office. This is both absurd and a mockery.
The Peace Prize has been a highly politicized and therefore a greatly diminished award for many years. But this latest development makes the Nobel committee look like complete fools.
I’m no fan of the President or his policy positions. However, I also do not think he deserves to be embarrassed and made to look like a puppet of European politicians.
He would have been well advised to graciously decline this award. But alas, in a hastily arranged Rose Garden media event this morning, he accepted it.

Here’s the real question. After Pres. Obama receives the Nobel in Economics for cash for clunkers, who will get the Nobel in Literature, Obama, or Bill Ayers ???
The Nobel committee said the award is recognition of Obama’s important work with the UN to eliminate nuclear weapons. Republicans are chewing sour grapes because the world hated Bush, the war president.
12 days of important Obama work………..and Iran on the verge of having nukes.
If they had a Nobel Prize for slobbering on the knob, a thousand brain cells, maybe – would be declared the unanimous winner in a land slide.
