The Cause of Freedom Made Them Great
This five minute video is about those 57 patriots who signed the Declaration, in defiance of the British King, placing their lives, the lives of their families, and their fortunes at risk. Several of them lost personal wealth accumulated over lifetimes of hard work. Several lost sons in the Revolutionary War. Several gave their lives for the cause.
The courageous founders risked and sacrificed everything so that we would not have to risk our lives, our families, and our homes to influence government. But today, we face new threats to liberty in the form of a President and Congress who willfully violate the Constitution as they expand the power of government to control our lives and seize the fruits of our labor. While we still can, we must voice and vote our strong opposition.
We need to figure out how to make ourselves heard on this topic of ignoring the Constitution today! Will we be ready to die for freedom like our founders did, or we just sit in the comfort of our computer desks making noise that no one listens to?
