Sunday Bible Wisdom
When the kings of the Old Testament devoted themselves to the Lord, the Lord was always faithful to protect them from their enemies. He made the small weak armies of incredible believers victorious over huge armies of evil forces. When they took their eyes off the Lord and decided they could fight their battles alone because they were smart enough, strong enough, or rich enough….that is when their evil enemies won and took over. It happened over and over and over again!
Do you think there is a lesson in that for us today? Whatever you are facing today, our God is still the God of all and will bring the peace that “surpasses all understanding” if you keep your eye on him. He promises to be your strength through anything. Trust and rest in him today and see what happens!
