Congressman John Yarmuth (D – KN) appeared on Fox News to answer questions about Obama-Care, now being drafted by Democrats in Congress.  How will it be paid for?

We can change practice patterns, we’ve set up the mechanism in the bill to do that to hold down costs and change the trajectory of costs in health care.

These “practice patterns” the government would change, through coercive regulations, are medical practice patterns.  Apparently, the Democrats believe that medical decisions made by doctors are generic enough to be subjected to broad regulation by bureaucrats in Washington.

Obama promises that if you like your doctor you can continue with him/her.  But, will you still like your doctor if his/her “practice patterns” or medical decisions are constrained by new federal bureaucracies?
