Obama Partisans Hack & Publish Sarah Palin’s Email

Hackers broke into Governor Sarah Palin’s personal Yahoo email account today and published portions of what they found on the Internet. Collateral damage includes publication of the names and email addresses of dozens of friends and associates, who may now be subject to further cyber attack and harrassment.

One is tempted to denounce Yahoo for lack of security, but there is a more important point.

When we question why there are so many creepy people in politics we must remember that this is part of the answer.  The “game” has become so ugly and invasive that normal people are repulsed.

Since the moment John McCain announced his VP choice Governor Palin and her husband and family have endured a category 5 salvo of personal attacks and slime slinging from the brazenly partisan national media.  Yet the Palins continue to exhibit aplomb and public good cheer.

Liberty Works salutes Sarah Palin.  We may have differences of opinion with her in the future.  We may quibble over policy and ideology.  But she and her husband are the best among us.  At enormous personal cost they have subordinated their lives to a noble cause greater than themselves.

We Americans should aspire to being a citizenry worthy of the servant-leadership of decent, honorable people like Sarah Palin.
