Live! It’s Obama Night! “I’ll Be Honest With You”

Obama-Recovery-Act

President Obama’s plan for Wednesday night’s press conference was to urge us to support his urgent, health care legislation, some thousand pages of new regulations and new bureaucracies and new federal power.  He wants Congressmen and Senators to treat health care as an emergency, and vote for the legislation immediately, without reading it, or publishing it on the Internet for the public to see.

He mentioned his first, urgent, legislative boondoggle, the thousand page  “stimulus” or recovery act, enacted on an emergency basis, by Congressmen and Senators who were not given time to read it:

…we passed a recovery act that has already saved jobs and created new ones….of course we still have a long way to go and the recovery act will continue to save and create jobs over the next two years, just as it was designed to do.  I  realize this is little comfort to those Americans who are currently out of work, and I’ll be honest with you: new hiring is always one of the last things to bounce back after a recession.

This is just astounding!  To drive passage of his stimulus/recovery act Obama confidently assured Congress and The People that it would save jobs immediately, not over two years.  He certainly did not say that even though the government was going to borrow and spend a Trillion dollars new hiring would still be  “one of the last things to bounce back after a recession” just as it was in previous recessions when there was no “stimulus.”

Now, after almost six months of failure Obama is finally honest with us?

It’s too bad he wasn’t honest with us and with Congress back in January and February when he demanded that Congressmen and Senators vote for the stimulus without reading its thousand pages.

The Chart above displays the grim results. If we allow Congress to enact his health care scheme we’ll see more grim results.

The Republicans cranked up their Big Lie machine to run full speed against reform of this country’s broken, dysfunctional, fraudulent health care industry. Lies, lies and more lies, like:

    You’ll lose your insurance

you won’t be able to choose a doctor

there will be months long waiting lines

bureaucrats will make all the decisions instead of your doctor.

I’ve got news for you Republicans! Insurance company bureaucrats make the decisions NOW! THIS DAY!

I’m so sick and fed up with so-called conserviativs who are nothing more than shills for the health insurance machine.
