Obama Finally Wins – For a Few Minutes
At 11 AM New York time, the Associated Press reported:
WASHINGTON – Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, campaign officials said, effectively ending her bid to be the nation’s first female president.
At 11:30, before the Obama Campaign could pop even one champaign cork, the Clinton campaign announced that the AP report was false.
One is reminded of the of the Bill Clinton Administration when political reporting and celebrity gossip seemed to merge.
