A Picture of ObamaCare

Congressman Kevin Brady, (R-Texas), the lead House Republican on the Joint Economic Committee, today unveiled the chart below, depicting how the health care system would be organized at the national level if the Democrats’ latest plan became law.

An excerpt from Brady’s remarks today:

Why should any patient be forced to give control of their health care over to this Faustian pit of Washington bureaucracy?  This government takeover has only one guaranteed result: to tell Americans what doctors you can see, what treatments you deserve and what medicines you can have.

The chart identifies at least 31 new federal programs, agencies, commissions and mandates that are included in the legislation House Democrats have written to enable a government takeover of health care in America.  These new bureaucracies, agencies, organizations and programs will all be put directly between the patient and his/her medical services.
